The ESC team has been conducting Credit Union elections for more than two decades. Whether you follow NCUA standard bylaws or have developed proprietary election rules, ESC conducts a secure, trouble-free election. Most Credit Unions use a member’s account number as a means of establishing identity. ESC has an option that eliminates this need with no compromise to security or added complexity for the user.
Our services adhere to “Guidelines for Safeguarding Member Information.”
Telephone voting is popular among Credit Union Board elections, and can be more cost effective than traditional paper ballots. ESC can integrate this with Internet and mail voting.
The Sarbanes Oxley Act is having a profound impact on public corporations. While not specifically applicable to credit unions, it has created a new emphasis and expectation on governance. Now, more than ever, you should have strong participation in Board elections, from newly enrolled and established members. ESC has a record of increasing voter turnout.
ESC has been involved in successful Retirement System elections encompassing nearly three million active and annuitant members. We support paper, telephone, and on-line, making it convenient for your members to vote how and when they prefer.
The Sarbanes Oxley Act, while not specifically applicable to pension systems, has created a new emphasis on governance. Now, more than ever, it is important to have strong participation in Board elections, from newly enrolled members, established members, and annuitants. ESC has a record of increasing voter turnout.
Most retirement systems have a low percentage of member email addresses. This preempts the opportunity to target communications by member preference. ESC has proven techniques to capture and maintain current email addresses provided voluntarily by your members. With this information, your Marketing and Customer Service teams develop stronger relationships, more responsive communications, and more cost effective delivery mechanisms. If you use Social Security numbers for identification, we have an optional service that eliminates the need for you to provide them to us, with no compromise in security.
In the 20 years working with Professional Societies, we have implemented and conducted elections for organizations with fewer than 1,000 members to those whose membership exceeds 100,000. Bylaws almost always specify paper mail ballots, while many also allow electronic voting, whether by telephone or Internet. ESC provides all of these types. We can assist you in migrating your membership to electronic options and improving participation while reducing non- productive expenditures on print and mail.

University and Alumni
With over 20 years of experience, we have conducted and managed more than 6,500 successful elections, including Alumni organizations of all sizes.
Your members have strong opinions. ESC can help you better understand their preferences, and strengthen your relationships with them, not just at election time, but also during the ongoing development process.
Many organizations are concerned that introducing Internet, or even telephone voting, might impact participation. We have developed techniques to manage this migration in a measured fashion, using quantitative data rather than assumptions to create successful projects. These outcomes can also transfer directly into ongoing cultivation activities.
As an organization owned by and operated for the benefit of those using its services cooperatives are a unique entity. The people buying the co-op’s goods or services play a critical role in building community wealth and continuing the business. If members do not fully participate and perform their duties, whether it be voting or carrying out daily operations, then the business cannot operate at full capacity. If a lack of participation becomes an ongoing issue for a cooperative, it could risk losing members. At Election Services Co. we understand the nuances of this type of organization and the importance of voter participation.
Environmental Groups perform great services for the planet and we are pleased to provide them, as well as our other clients, great service in turn. Many changes throughout the world have been brought about by these groups. At Election Services we do our part by utilizing recycled paper, vendors that are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and/or SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified while working with our clients on ways to reduce paper usage where available. Our planet is important as are elections.
